CONDITION



This RVU has been proactively released to improve this condition on the vehicle:



Update the TPMS confirmation screens to be consistent across all models.



This RVU applies only to vehicles with the Non-3G MMI radio. (Applies to low-level CAN radio with controls located in instrument panel vs.



center console.)



This Required Vehicle Update (RVU) is in effect until November 20, 2012. After that date, this RVU will expire and no longer be in effect.



Vehicle must meet all of the following criteria:



^ Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the 44I2 (44i2) code in the ElsaWeb Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair.



^ Vehicle must be within the Limited New Vehicle Warranty.



^ Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this Technical Service Bulletin. Procedure must be performed on applicable



vehicles in dealer inventory prior to sale.

Updated tire pressure monitoring software.



PRODUCTION SOLUTION



Updated radio software for tire pressure monitoring.



SERVICE



1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.



2. Update the radio module, address location 56, using the SVM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.
