Condition
^ Light engine hesitation or shudder when accelerating in different rpm ranges.
If accelerated with steady throttle application, the changing of the load flaps can only be felt at about 2,500
rpm, and the Audi Valve Lift System shifts at about 3,800 rpm.
^ No DTCs in the engine control module.
^ Will not result in engine stall.
Technical Background
Incorrect software of the engine control module.

Optimized engine software from MY 2010.
Service
1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the engine control module using the SVM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.
