The customer states one or both of the front fog lamps has moisture inside the housing, or it is as if the lens is steamed-up (Figure 1). The fog lights
function normally during this condition.
There appears to be no rock damage or other types of road damage which could allow water to enter the housing.
Technical Background
Humidity can enter the fog lamp housing through the ventilation opening.
Production Solution
Improved parts put in to production.
Service
If there is no rock damage or other types of road damage to the fog lamp housing, replace only the affected front fog lamp with only one of the new
parts listed in the parts table below.
