Condition
When closing sunshade, the shade stops and reverses.
Technical Background
The bow of the sunshade interferes with the inner frame seal and reverses the direction of the sunshade's movement.
Production Solution
Assembly instructions given to workers in the factory.
Service
1. Completely open sunroof panel.
2. Check the fit of the inner frame seal according to the illustration shown above.
3. To prevent the radius of the frame seal from coming off again, make certain that enough seal length is provided to the corner (Figure 2, B).
Reposition the longest run of the seal (Figure 2, A) to provide ample seal length and tension.

4. Verify the correct installation of the inner seal.
5. Perform a sunshade motor adaptation as specified in ElsaWeb >> Body >> Body Exterior >> 60 Sunroof >> Sunroof, Avant >> Motor Adaptation
