Condition
The customer has concerns for various noises from:
^ The windows and seals, specifically in the transition to the convertible top seals.
^ The door trim, B pillar and A pillar areas.
Technical Background
Various kinds of noises can be generated at the contact or transition points of windows to the roof frame seals on the convertible top.
The customer may not be able to place the source of the noise, but assumes they come from the door trim, A pillar and/or B pillar.
Production Solution
Treatment applied to the convertible top seals.

1. Apply special lubricant G 052 172 A2 along the entire length of the convertible top seals beginning from the base of the A pillar, as shown in
Figures 1 and 2.
