As part of obligations as one of the club’s main sponsors, every year Audi presents Real Madrid players and staff with a brand new company car. The Four Rings have featured prominently with the European champions since they joined forces back in 2003, since when the players and coaching staff have taken home a range of different models. The result of the partnership is a yearly photoshoot where each player is pictured taking delivery of their car of choice. Plus the players are contractually obliged to drive their new rides to training each day.

Star striker Cristiano Ronaldo, unsurprisingly, went for the most powerful Audi available – the RS7 Sportback Performance finished in Panther Black. Not a bad daily driver, but we’re sure he’ll be itching to show up to the Santiago Bernabeu in his stunning new Bugatti Chiron. Like everyone else in the world, the players’ model of choice was an SUV. Specifically, the Audi Q7, which 14 players picked in various iterations. Gareth Bale and Isco were two that took the SUV route with the Q7 Sport. RS models also proved popular of course.

Manager Zinedine Zidane opted for a Daytona Gray Audi RS6 Avant Performance, while captain Sergio Ramos went all out, driving home a R8 Spyder, finished in Ibis White with a red roof. The cheapest Audi on the list was a S5, which Marco Asensio decided was suitable for his needs. Other players of note include sharp shooter Karim Benzema who looked happy with his Audi RS5 2.9 TFSI, while Toni Kroos was the only player to pick the Audi SQ5. Prior to the handover of the company cars, the players were able to perform a virtual test drive in the Audi e-tron FE04, which will have its first official race in the Formula E season opener in Hong Kong next weekend. Audi A4 Given Subtle Updates For 2019

Minor cosmetic changes for Audi's compact sedan and wagon.

The A4 is one of Audi's top-selling models. But though it only came out in 2016, the current version is older than the A5, A6, A7, and A8 – all of which have rolled out in their present iterations more recently than the compact sedan. So to bring it up to speed, the German automaker has launched a facelifted version – subtle as the revisions may be. Mildly refreshed for 2019, the Audi A4 sedan and A4 Avant wagon feature new bumpers front and rear, a new array of wheels, and a new sport package.

Up front the bumper is redesigned and integrates a chin spoiler. Around back, the diffuser is narrower to accommodate a pair of wider trapezoidal tailpipes to replace the round tips on the outgoing model. And redesigned wheels range from 16 to 19 inches. That's about it for the standard model. But Audi's also offering the S Line Competition equipment package with its own front grille and bumper treatment, LED headlights, and its own set of 19-inch alloys packing red brake calipers and fitted to a sport suspension. The Avant also gets a rear spoiler, and the interior features a sport steering wheel, more heavily bolstered seats, and carbon trim.

The package makes the A4 look and feel more like an S4 or RS4, without the engine upgrade that would go with it. Audi says the revised A4 sedan and A4 Avant will start reaching dealers in the third quarter of this year. No word yet on US availability, but we're sure that will follow in due course – in sedan form, at least. The only wagon version currently offered in the US is the Allroad, and that has its own unique appearance. Last year alone, Audi sold nearly 35,000 A4s in the United States, making it the company's top-selling sedan in America and ranking (to no one's surprise) behind only the more popular Q5 and Q7 crossovers.

Audi R8 Spyder Boosted To 620HP And Given Unique Makeover

The drop-top supercar received a gold-chrome-matte wrap with bright black highlights, as well as tinted headlights, taillights and windows. A PP-Performance power upgrade sees the V10 upped from 517 to 611 horsepower. In line with the boost in power, the R8 has been fitted with a remote-controlled throttle valve to give it a more raucous sounding exhaust note. Rounding off the modifications is a KW lowered suspension and a set of powder-coated gloss-black alloy wheels. The upgrade package has been priced at 15,000 Euros.
