Condition
^ Door handle touch sensors (Audi Advanced Key) are intermittently inoperative on one or several doors, often after driving in the rain or through a
car wash.
^ No relevant DTCs are stored.
Technical Background
Water may enter the door handle touch sensor rubber sleeve and prevent proper operation.

Not applicable.
Service
1. Check the Advanced Key touch sensor opening (unlock) and closing (lock) signal on every door handle by monitoring Measuring Value Block 43
in address word 05.
2. Replace only the door handle sensor(s) which do not respond correctly in the Measuring Value Block.
