The flexible side panel chafes on the taillight housing, causing the noise.

Follow the instructions below to fit a rubber buffer between side panel and taillight housing (see Figure 3).
1. Cut the buffer in half with a pair of scissors or similar instrument.
The buffer will be placed between the side panel and the taillight housing.

2. To install the buffer, raise the rear spoiler and loosen the upper bolts of the bumper cover. Lift the bumper cover next to the side panel and secure
it with a wedge (Figure 4).
3. Install the buffer between the side panel and taillight housing (Figure 5).
Make sure that the buffer cannot be seen in the gap between side panel and bumper cover.
