Condition
The headlight washer system does not function when tested during the pre-delivery inspection.
Technical Background
The headlight washer system circuit fuse, 30 ampere, has been removed by the factory. This is done for transport protection.
- For TT models, the fuse has been placed in the spare fuse position number 1 of the fuse panel located in the engine compartment (ST1).
- For A3 models, the fuse has been placed in the spare fuse position number 4 of the fuse panel located under the left side instrument panel
(SC).
Production Solution
No change.
Service
Install the fuse during the pre-delivery inspection. Please refer to the fuse panel cover for correct fuse location.
