Affected Vehicles
Condition
This Update has been proactively released to prevent the following condition from occurring in the vehicle:
MIL on.

DTC stored in ECM for reductant pressure sensor (implausible signal).
This Update is in effect until removed.
Vehicle must meet all of the following criteria:
^ Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the 20R4 code in the ElsaWeb Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair.
^ Vehicle must be within the Federal Emissions Warranty.
^ Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this Technical DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR .
^ Procedure must be performed on applicable vehicles in dealer inventory prior to sale.
Technical Background
On Audi Q7 vehicles with 3.0L TDI engine and AdBlue system manufacturer within a specific period, the diagnostic thresholds of the metering
pump have been set too close to the startup of pump operation. As a result, an event memory entry may be made in the engine control unit and the
MIL may light up.
Production Solution
On the vehicles affected, a software update of the engine control unit must be carried out.
Service
1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the engine ECM (J623) using the SVM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.
