2019 Audi RS5 Sportback (B9)

2.The transmission on my S5 is very good. It is the ZF eight velocity. You'll hear a lot of people complain concerning the notorious delay or lag which I do not have and have never had. What I do experience is the transmission holding on to gears too long and in flip the automotive starts to shake really badly and make a stalling sound. The car makes that sound that guide automobiles make after they're about to stall at instances, particularly when I'm attempting to again into my storage. Audi needs to work on tuning the ZF eight velocity. I've now driven a multitude of vehicles with this transmission and none of them exhibit this habits. Apart from that, shifts are crisp and really quick. I'm averaging 24.7 MPG with a mixture of highway and city. 3. The interior of the S5 is all Audi. The cabin is fabricated from great prime quality materials and the leather is great.

There are a few locations where I feel Audi may have stepped it up somewhat like the sprint. Audi's two principal competitors each provide a faux leather contrast stitched sprint. Would actually add some 'oomph' to the cabin. 4. The S5 gives a host of technology. I do suppose Audi is lagging behind simply slightly bit in terms of lighting know-how and maybe somewhat in the infotainment area. The MMI by no means understands me and attempting to use the Nav system is a course of and getting into in an tackle takes a bit little bit of time. I do love how easy it is to navigate and use though. Everything is fairly straightforward to seek out and logically positioned. I do have an issue when I attempt to pair my iPhone XS Max although typically. It will not join and i should toggle Bluetooth on and off for it to connect. Another technological piece that I also want Auto Hold. 5. I feel Audi wants to add is direct TPMS. In 2019, not figuring out what my tire stress is with out having to measure all 4 individually is inexcusable.

I would like pops and bangs. 8. Audi is lagging behind its predominant opponents when it comes to performance offerings from the manufacturing facility. BMW and Mercedes both have complete efficiency catalogues for his or her sportier cars just like the M340i and the AMG C43. If Audi doesn't want its clients to go out and purchase an aftermarket exhaust for example, it ought to offer it. I just do not want to get flagged with a TD1. Audi's efficiency Catalogue is principally carbon rear diffusor and carbon mirror caps. That's it. That's the extent of it. LOVES to understeer. Even in a slow corner and this car understeers. It's Really annoying. 60% of the load over the front axle would not to this automobile any favors. 10. Steering weight is horrible. The steering is simply too light. Feedback is alright but steering is simply too light. Again, sports activities coupe. I need a sportier feel to the wheel. 11. Connectivity - Sucks and it's nugatory. The Audi Connect App is a joke. 12. The Voice recognition system is Worthless. Does your S5 have the Dynamic Steering? Is that why it feels as gentle? I actually didn't thoughts the RS5 being gentle, since if I'm slogging via DTLA site visitors, I desire not having the automotive overwork me. I used to be in a position to listen to some minor burbling however you are proper, at least concerning the RS5 it's very quiet, muted and I was barely in a position to pick that up when I was driving. Even the RS5 didn't have lots of emotion to it, the tranny was a ZF however as my complaint with the F90 M5 is identical, ZF8 tranny is boring.

Lighting: The lights on the S5 are improbable. The LED lights have a really nice large beam sample and with the low beam lights coded on with high beam, they mild up the street and them some when the high beams are on. I do have two major gripes with the headlights. The cornering lamps that turn are are barely noticeable or turn on actually late. Audi's primary competitors, BMW and Mercedes each provide this characteristic.. I dwell in an space where deer love to come put and play at night and I have very curvy roads. I would like to see what's around the bend earlier than I get there. I do not know whether it is just me but they cornering lamps are either actually dim or just activate really late. They help when I'm turning into my driveway, however they are barely noticeable when I'm turning at an intersection.
