Condition
^ With the headlight switch in the Auto position, after locking the vehicle, the parking lights are permanently on.
^ In the Central Electrics Control Module J519 (address word 09), DTC 2071 (Local data bus electric fault in circuit) is stored as a sporadic fault.
Technical Background
The DTC entry can occur if the control unit receives a wake-up signal (for example, if the vehicle is unlocked using the remote key) during the
transition to sleep mode.
Production Solution
Optimized Central Electrics Control Module (J519) software.
Service
1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the Central Electrics Control Module (J519) using the SVM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.
3. If an online update via SVM is not possible, use the Update CD listed in the Required Parts and Tools section below. After a successful update,
please perform an SVM transmission (spec-actual comparison) using the above SVM code.
